Irreni Introduction: The Will To Self-Govern

In this op/ed we are going to talk about an absolute requirement of what any new government must have: expanding our will and ability to self-govern.
Like a ship leaving port we need to leave a port named, ""The Rule of Law" behind.
The Rule of Law is a rule by force by a few over the many. A force that in the United States has long been corrupted beyond the point of no return and so reached a point of no fixing. The 435 congress people have a 90% incumbency rate and 19% approval rating. How is it that we have a system we do not approve of making laws for 300 million people?
So now what? When we think about what comes next, what new government principles apply, then we need to take to heart what Jefferson said: voting is the least you can do. This shows in our representative governments today. What can we expect when citizens spend what, maybe an hour in the voting booth each year self-governing?
Any new government going forward must necessarily increase the responsibility and power of self-governing. The Rule of Law of is the opposite of self-governing, the opposite of voluntary cooperation of self-governing. Today 0.001% of the population in the U.S. makes the laws. As a result anyone we vote for in 2018 is easily corrupted. So the question for any new government is this: how do we increase self-governing?
I have a plan with Irreni. However, once the notion of replacement government takes hold in the U.S. there will be other plans besides Irreni. In any case we should insist that any new replacement government increases our ability and power to self-govern. Representative Democracies do not scale to today's world population.
The initial Irreni plan to self-govern is primarily focused on creating small-business jobs using MGO corporations (Micro Governing Organization corporations). The Irreni, "Make 2018" campaign, is a jobs program. This campaign targets upgrading corporate law and supplanting existing corporations with MGO corporations and new MGO corporate by-laws. Irreni World Scale provides a framework set of requirements for corporate by-laws. First there is a maximum size of thirty people in any corporation. If more people are needed then a new, independent MGO is spun out. Initially contracts between MGOs will tie together corporations. Down the road MGOs comprised of other MGOs will be established. Second Irreni requires use of a vote bank and six-degrees voting, where these concepts have been introduced previously. To whit, Irreni creates a common set of rules about the system of government called corporate by-laws that is intended to increase self-governing at the corporate level.
The initial plan also involves upgrading our political voting behavior today. Imagine, if you will, we all decided as a people in America to voluntarily reject any Republican or Democrat. No force, just a viral campaign. Just assume that this takes place. We vote all the incumbents out in one go. And the only reason we do this is just to prove we can. No statement is made about the political efficacy of simply replacing incumbents. Why would we do this? Well, Irreni and self-governing is not about a force of the rule of law, but a demonstration of cooperation of our collective will and power to voluntary self-govern. The law tells you what you have to do. Self-governing is about cooperating what we want to do. We need to look in the mirror and say we can do this, we can coordinate voluntarily.
In other words, we need to start new traditions of voluntary cooperation. The rule of law where a tiny, tiny minority representing a vastly larger majority has run its course. It can no longer be improved. Why? Because it does not scale. All laws require a tacit agreement by the people governed to abide by the law for the most part. The police and the legal system catch the outliers. Today we cannot get 300 million people *tacitly* on the same page, we must move to *actively* be on the same page, a.k.a. self governing. America can no longer tacitly agree as Americans on anything. The Rule of Law's days have passed.
What we need to do as a people is look to ourselves and not our representatives. They do not represent us. So that means we need to start using the Internet to connect everyone on the planet, in America, in one big conversation arena of self-governing of voluntarily cooperation.
To come back to our example of rejecting all Democrats and Republicans, how would this work? Irreni World Scale manages cooperation via MGOs. First, a group of thirty people must compromise and cooperate as a thirty-person unit, the MGO. Then we further cooperate as a group of groups, or an MGO of MGOs. We combine thirty MGOs and continue to compromise and cooperate. We keep grouping in groups of thirty and doing that until we get to 300 million people cooperating. Prior to the Internet this kinda thing would not be possible. Now we can make it happen.
But it does sound impossible, eh? Only because we literally do the least we can do today with voting. Any muscle that is not exercised will atrophy. Our self-governing muscles are almost non-existent and so asking these muscles to do anything seems impossible. Voting is a non-effort. We need to strengthen our self-governing ability and power. Imagine if every week your MGO met to make voting decisions as a block, maybe one-or-two hours. Just these two hours per week alone is more self-governing than we are doing today. As we initiate doing self-governing more than self-governing objectives will begin to look easier to do.
Sometimes we call these voluntary efforts grass roots. But grass roots organizations in 2018 are really fringe organizations considering how little of a percentage of the country belongs to these groups.
Over the course of the next twenty-to-forty years we are going to teach ourselves and our children that self-governing requires a much larger commitment than just voting, which is literally the least we can do. The low hanging fruit practically is a jobs program. Money motivates. But we can do something immediately politically, replace political parties. We don't need political parties. Both parties are dead. Both parties are just hollow shells that are never coming back. So, now what? We need political networks of cooperation. We'll call these political networks voting blocks of common interest. Every issue will have distinct blocks. Party doesn't exist any more, each issue will have a set of distinct voting blocks built from MGO building blocks and utilizing six-degrees voting to manage the voting process.
To recap, the important take-away here is this: no matter what the next round of new government looks this new government must demand a much larger commitment by people to self-govern. Representative Democracy has come to its natural conclusion of unavoidable corruption of scale because too few people represent too many.
It is time for us to do the work ourselves.
