Pandemic help: medical facilities recommendation.
Imagine if every apartment complex had Federally sponsored medical facilities in one apartment per thirty residents so as to provide nursing home care?
Nursing homes are elderly concentration camps. I mean facilities. Nursing homes are elderly concentration facilities. A pandemic outbreak will always necessarily impact the elderly the hardest. This means nursing homes then become death-traps during a pandemic.
American society has solved such a housing concentration problem once before. America went through a period of concentrating poor people in housing projects that became poverty traps in the 1960s and 1970s. The Federal government in an attempt to address poverty, especially among the black urban community, created housing projects just for poor people. These projects became ghettos of poverty and cash cows for evil landlords where our current President is a product of such an evil landlord. We did learn though as a country. We eventually replaced housing projects with Section 8 housing. This Section 8 program distributes low income people among the middle-class income so as to avoid concentrations of poverty.
We can and should do this with elderly care. We should disband nursing homes and instead allocate one-in-thirty middle-class housing units to medical facilities. Our existing apartments should have designated apartments with medical devices and safety measures in place for assisted living that provides nursing for the elderly. Once we do this then we can disband nursing homes.
If every apartment complex had such medical facilities then doctors could make house calls beyond just the daily care for the elderly. We could even include dental facilities for on campus dentistry.
This notion of distributing capability and dependency support is a core design of Irreni World Scale.
Irreni World Scale calls for sovereign nations of size thirty people, called an MGO for micro-modular governing organization. Thirty people of an MGO will form their own country. They will grow their own food, make their own clothes, make their shelter, and be as independent as possible. The Irreni plan calls for scoring every campus with an independence ranking. This ranking is a combination of isolation ranking and expert capability ranking. How many months can an MGO isolate without receiving supplies? How much expert medical care can an MGO provide? To achieve this independence then each MGO will want to have their own water supply, power generation, medical facilities, and manufacturing environments. MGOs will be responsible for taking care of their dependents albeit the elderly, the sick, or children. Each MGO could have its own ICU if it so chooses, or they could contract out with a hospital.
The design of Irreni World Scale encourages independence. Today as a country we are a group of three-hundred million people of untested dependency capacities and this is unmanageable. Two-hundred years from now Irreni calls for all nations to have been dissolved into millions of MGOs that aspire to as much independence as possible. Two-hundred years are required because we need to upgrade our culture before we can upgrade our government to micro-governing in groups of thirty people. It will be a long process for people to adjust to micro-governing being a daily responsibility.
It is worth pointing out though that our society is going to evolve in the direction of micro-governing. We are going to disband concentrating those less fortunate because this always means those more vulnerable become traps of poverty and death. Irreni is just a formal plan to achieve micro-governing in an orderly planned fashion.
For today we can just look to disbanding nursing homes that are concentrations of the most vulnerable. We should distribute the most vulnerable among the common vulnerable the same as Section 8 housing does for low income housing. An added benefit is that the common vulnerable can have access to these new medical facilities, facilities that are on the apartment campus where they live rather than driving to a hospital or other health facility. We should continue this line of thinking for day-care, food storage, and so on.
