Time For A Third Party?

As the inventor of Irreni it is incumbent upon me to keep tabs on emerging government. Today I saw an interview linked at the top about a new "Peoples" party yet to be named forming. This will be an economic platform party as opposed to ideology party like the Green and Libertarian parties. 




Sadly corruption goes way beyond campaign financing. Starting with the FDR administration Congress has abdicated all of its responsibilities and power to the Executive branch in the name of incumbency. How is any third party going to overcome the 90% incumbency rate? Most Senators and Representatives are political unknowns. Why? Because they don't do anything, literally. Take a recent example of the CARES oversight committee chair position in the House. The person who wanted the job chairs the Financial Committee. Instead Nancy Pelosi gives the job to Donna Shalayla. Why? Because Donna Shalayla is retired. Putting her in the spotlight risks nothing. As early as 1995 I was reading reports that 90% of legislation passed by Congress is wholesale written by lobbyists. Why? According to the people in Congress it is because most laws are too technical and it escapes the ability of law makers to grasp the topic. To whit, Congress no longer writes the laws and Congress has 100% abdicated its oversight role. Pretty much all Congress does these days is pork barrel amendments and dialing for dollars. This winnowing down of Congress into nothing more than rubber stamping lobbyist legislation that is implemented by the Executive branch with no Congressional check has been 100 years in the making. There is no going back. A third party is not going to be able to reverse course on this. No President will sign legislation stripping the Presidency of its powers. Congress isn't going to educate itself to understand the domains it is legislating. What's needed is replacement government that sits side-by-side with Democracy and over the course of a hundred years gradually dissolves the corruption we call Democracy today.

Bad Reasoning Bad reasoning. We all have it and do it. Some of us more than others. How many times have we heard the average person doesn't understand finances? And yet everyone is expected to have their retirement invested? What kind of mad world is this? We demand financial savvy where none exists? It is almost as if the system is rigged to rip us all off while telling us it is our fault and we buy it hook, line, and sinker? This solution presented is how to think about the current national turmoil about NFL players taking the knee during the playing of the national anthem. One of my throw-away lines with respect to atheism is that religion is for people who cannot accept "I don't know" as an answer. I could brag that a religious inability to accept "I don't know" is due to a lack of humility. But that's not the case. The reason people cannot accept "I don't know" is that "I don't know" is unsatisfying, it doesn't satisfy to provide ground for traction to move forward in life. But that's not true. There has been news lately surrounding Amnesty International's proposed new platform to decriminalize prostitution.  Should we?
