The Forever Frontier

Space, the final frontier. I was born in 1962. When Star Trek came out I was just at the age were my worldview was first forming. Space, the final frontier.



Frontier is a romantic aspiration. We adventure into the unknown not only heading into the unknown, but also heading into unknown risk of the unknown. How dangerous is the frontier? You don't know. When Colombus and Madgellan set sail the risk of danger was unknown as well as the destination. That is real courage and real stupid.

Irreni World Scale is new frontier. Irreni is unknown risk as well as unknown destination. We don't frontier today. Reasonably so because it is stupid to take a journey where even the risk is unknown. But here is the twist: knowing the risk eliminates the discovery novelty. By definition risk can only be assigned to the already known.

Irreni World Scale is a perpetually necessary form of government for now and ever more. Why?

Survival is the forever frontier. We know the Universe is expanding itself unto heat death. If we want to survive indefinitely then we need to stop the expansion of the Universe with as yet unknown technology. That unknown technology is our forever frontier. We will have many survival technology milestones on the way such as the expansion of our Sun and the collision  with Andromeda.

Our shared species quest of discovering ever new survival tech will require ever new politics to match. This need for ever changing political process will require continuous political experiment and thus the political laboratories of Irreni.

Survival isn't our only shared species quest. Meaning of life is as well. This meaning will realize ever larger degrees of free will. Whatever you wish is your meaning.

We have very limited free will today as individuals. The more people that exist compensates for our distinct limitations. Survival being the ultimate limitation that we all must work towards. Stopping the expansion of the Universe will require many planets, solar systems, and galaxies be populated by humans, all working towards overcoming  a singular limitation of survival.

Free will expansion for all people converges on wishful thinking. Today we can "wish" a meal into existence by going into a restaurant and exchanging imaginary currency for a meal you cannot create with food you did not procure. You wished it. As technology increases in scale both capacity of both delivering wishes to ever larger populations and then increasing capacity of the kind of wishes then we are going to be faced with a frontier of wishes converging on total free will. When a cure for cancer is found then you'll be able to wish away cancer with imaginary money. Immortality is a near future reality where we can stop aging. What do we wish for then?

Survival is not a choice wish. Survival is a mandatory requirement. However, survival will not be a continuous requirement. We'll have increasing free time for wishful thinking. Free time has increased as technology advances even today. Automation will continue to increase free time as technological advancement increases free will opportunity.

What do we want to wish for? Freedom means we should have the least restrictions as possible. In other words proscribed free will is not free will and so the end game is removing free will encumbrances like bad health. Today our free will restrictions are imposed by circumstances of birth, childhood, and biological capacities.

Irreni World Scale addresses our birth and childhood restrictions of free will by imposing micro governing. A new sovereign governing body called the MGO of fixed size group of thirty people is required to afford we all be each others keepers. Irreni scientifically balances MGO membership to optimize free will of each individual within the MGO by balancing capabilities with restrictions. Where you may have some restriction such as an inability to exercise dutifully then others in your MGO will be your support because they do exercise regularly.

Irreni World Scale is a forever frontier of matching survival technological experiments with requisite political experiments.

Your first frontier is to join an MGO. Joining an MGO is an unknown risk as well as uncharted territory of new politics. You will not understand Irreni World Scale just as you do not understand all technology that you use today. One of the many disastrous failings of the US Constitution is it lacks the capability that political systems of complexity must scale in complexity as technology scales in complexity. Our current belief is we can forever scale technological complexity with a simple document of a Constitution of a few thousand words and a bill of rights of just ten in number.

People are rejecting Irreni because they want to understand it in its entirety the way they think they understand Democracy through the lens of a tiny, tiny, tiny US Constitution.

Irreni is designed to scale to galactic proportions and beyond. Do you really think you  an understand that? Irreni imposes on you first and foremost a governing scale you must understand because it is  designed to maximize your free will; an MGO of size thirty people who all have capabilities that compensate for each other's free will restrictions. Increasing your free will means more autonomy and control for you and everyone.

As groups of MGOs combine to achieve ever more governing complexity then you will understand less and less. That is how complexity works and we have been done a great disservice by the US Constitution that provides an illusion that only understanding a few simple things forever scales as governing complexity increases with technological advancement.

Set sail. We need to be pioneers. We need to adventure into the unknown risk and unknown territory of our politics and technology of tomorrow. We need to get over our shared delusion that we can only take action in the face of an illusion of certainty of risk based on simple founding principles of inadequacy like exists with  Democracy, Socialism, Capitalism, or Communism.

Bad Reasoning Bad reasoning. We all have it and do it. Some of us more than others. How many times have we heard the average person doesn't understand finances? And yet everyone is expected to have their retirement invested? What kind of mad world is this? We demand financial savvy where none exists? It is almost as if the system is rigged to rip us all off while telling us it is our fault and we buy it hook, line, and sinker? Hi! Happy Wednesday! Yesterday I blogged about applying Silicon Valley know-how to politics,  how under the covers of Irreni World Scale lie the principles Silicon Valley computing. Specifically I went on about the process of innovation being agile. Agile is defined to be a constant back-and-forth of top-down versus bottom-up design approaches called iterations. We can think of these top-down versus bottom up iterations as a revolution, a revolution of a wheel of design  where top and bottom of the wheel represent top-down vs. bottom-up design perspectives respectively. The new form of 21st Century revolution then is innovation brought on by each revolution of the design. There has been news lately surrounding Amnesty International's proposed new platform to decriminalize prostitution.  Should we? Kavanaugh Debrief Hi! Happy Tuesday! Who should you believe: Kavanaugh or Ford?  I don't know. One of my throw-away lines with respect to atheism is that religion is for people who cannot accept "I don't know" as an answer. I could brag that a religious inability to accept "I don't know" is due to a lack of humility. But that's not the case. The reason people cannot accept "I don't know" is that "I don't know" is unsatisfying, it doesn't satisfy to provide ground for traction to move forward in life. But that's not true. I don't know is an actionable and tractable answer, and so I give to you this debrief.
