Breaking Bad! Breaking Bread, I mean Breaking Bread!

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

These last few posts no one would give you cause for concern if you wryly opined that Irreni World Scale is all about getting us together to talk.

I mean, conversations equal consensus has been the tag line.

Today we are going to go one step farther and dance together. See what I did there? Get it? One step farther and dance together? ha!

Irreni is all about people governing themselves. Because the alternative is all of human history. Oh sure, Democracy has elevated the few doing the ruling of the many to realizing an unprecedented freedom of the many never before seen in history. But still, capitalism has always preyed upon slavery, cheap labor and requires oppression of an underclass. It has too. So, today we choose to move on.

The next Irreni step in conversations equal consensus is breaking bad. I mean breaking bread. Dang it. ha! T.V. has rotted my mind. lol.

We live in an unprecedented time in human existence. We are no longer in a human race. We are no longer the human race. We've won. What does that mean? That means the few of us, the very few, can feed and shelter the rest at almost no cost and so the year 2000 marked the year of quality of life.

We are now in the quality of life era of human existence. Irreni embraces this by assuming food and shelter for all, food and shelter safety for all.

So let us break bread together, daily.

The Human Quality Principle is one of the 20 big fancy pants ideas of Irreni and simply states the human race is over, we've won. We are now in the quality of life era of human existence.

The Sexy Principle of Human Quality says what comes next: we each are responsible for telling each other the ideal kind of life we want to live. We then get together as the people governing ourselves and make it happen. Of course the contradictions, contra-positions and moral oppositions will need to be worked out. What this means is there will be gun-free tribes and gun-toting tribes. Each tribe will see the other as antithetical and perhaps even morally evil. But, and here's the big butt, butt we all agree to disagree and give each other space and thus govern ourselves. We have too or, or, we need a ruling class. Those be our choices. Ruling classes don't scale and by that I mean they require oppression and exploitation of some one, some where.

So, the Sexy Principle means we all get together and speak our piece about the kind of lives we want to live. And then by golly we plan to make it happen to the fullest extent possible. We agree to get along by not getting along where necessary. I'm an atheist. You're religious. We get together just enough to work it out. And break bad at daily meals.

And where it all begins is breaking bad. I mean breaking bread. Every nook and cranny on this here rock we call planet Earth is provided with food and shelter for all. Imagine, if you will, food tents all around the world. Everyone is encouraged to come and share meals and conversation. Further the tents are equally divided in space between chowing down and chewing each other's arm off. Soap boxes abound in sunset field evenings where we get together to face-to-face express our desires.

But think of it. Once this kicks off then cultures are centered around sharing not just conversations, but food. Dancing, cooking, music, arts and all kinds of get together events would eventually follow. The act of expressing the kind of culture we want becomes a focus of expressing that very culture.

As we all get together to share meals and culture then the social clashes will happen as they always do. When it does though, we develop processes for getting along. For example, in business there is a thing called Robert's Rules of Order. Boring. Yeah, we don't want to use that but instead we develop similar processes for getting along and for governing our we the people disagreements.

Person by person, meal by meal we develop as a people to get along together. And we harken in a new era of people learning to govern themselves.

How exciting! Combine breaking bread with the V.E.R.Y., virtual environment, reality you,  and we the people of two brand new public commons to commence our we the people communication and governing.

And, that's not all! In addition to breaking bread and the V.E.R.Y., there is a we the people project: The Data Center on the Moon (DCOTM). The Data Center on the Moon is a project akin to the I.S.S., the International Space Station. Only with the DCOTM case everyone gets involved in the project.

Irreni World Scale leap-frogs our existing government processes by completely skipping over revolutions of central governments and leaps straight to innovations of everyday we the people governing ourselves.

Kick ass. Mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm. It doesn't get any more exciting than we the people expressing our many flavored personalities in all their full bloom and recording them on the Data Center on the Moon.

People expressing themselves in full bloom recorded on the Data Center on the Moon. And that, my friends, is how we romance the Data Center on the Moon.

Cheers!

Matrix not Email

Hi! Happy Sunday!

Sometimes when people ask me what Irreni is I joke that it is peopleware, an operating system for people.

Irreni is an operating system for people.  The joke is that people treat our US constitution with religious-like emotional attachment. Blah. The US Constitution is just code. The joke is people treat the US Constitution as something other than code. I use Linux as my OS and I'm not emotionally attached to Linux as my computer OS. I just don't like wasting my time on Windows cruft. I am emotionally attached to my time. However, in my life I've used SUSE, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, VAX-VMS, DOS, IRIX, Unix, Free BSD, Berkeley BSD. And now I use Android on my phone.

In my mind people should be treating people operating systems (POS) exactly the same way we treat computer OS systems, with detachment. There should be many  competing POS. And, different operations systems for different scales. The OS on my phone, Android, is not the same OS on my laptop, Linux.

If Irreni has any success at all then Irreni should just be one of what will be  a long list of POS available for people to try out and use. The POS should constantly being upgraded, a new release per year and patches in between.

Anyway, I got off topic. Today's blog post is about "Matrix not Email".

To date my blog posts and Irreni have been about catching up our peopleware. Irreni posts have been about upgrading from 1789 to 2015.

This blog post is a little different. This blog post advances a recent technology, email. Email is the single most import vehicle for communication today. And yet email, like the US Constitution, is sorely in need of a massive upgrade.

This is that upgrade.

Recently I started using Google's "Inbox" version of "Gmail". The hype around Google "Inbox" gave the impression that Google was re-inventing email. Ha ha. All Google did was bolt a few minor features to "Gmail". What I'm about to propose is not that. This is a whole hog replacement.

When people think of computers ruling the world I would guess that the first image people conjure is The Terminator and Judgment Day. The robots gain consciousness and decide we humans are not worth it, or that humans are a threat to computers, and attempt to kill us all.

The reality is that The Matrix is infinitely more likely. All computers today are still very simple switches. Even Quantum computers are at 1's and 0's. The easiest path to consciousness is not switches. The easiest path to consciousness is the mind-machine interface, The Matrix. The more likely dystopian future is that machines are jacked into human brains and human brains become the CPU and consciousness of the machine. Wait. This topic is email,  not the mind-machine interface.

Dang, got off topic again.

Email sucks because it lacks synchronous synchronicity. The Irreni replacement for email and all other forms of electronic communication is called PARI, personal augmented romantic intelligence.

PARI in the simplest terms is an answering service. Doctors, lawyers and other professionals on call 24/7 hire answering services to screen calls. PARI does the same thing.

PARI is both synchronous and asynchronous. PARI manages IM, texting, chat, phone calls, emails and other kinds of communication. The easiest way to think of PARI is in terms of two metaphors, the human heart and the human digestive system.

PARI synchronous communication is the heart of the matter. The "romantic" in PARI means a personality, a programmed personality. Actors and celebrities of the day start creating voice overs and personalities for answering services. All synchronous communication either handled by your directly or indirectly are recorded by PARI and turned to text. This text then becomes part of your asynchronous digestive tract.

All synchronous communication is logged and converted to asynchronous communication. Think of this as the stomach. This is the first organ in a chain of organs designed to digest communication.

Email, or asynchronous communication, is digested as well. All conversations are stored as a simple text document on your file system. In other words, you email is no longer caught in the amber of the email system itself. All communication of email or other avenues of electronic communication are time-stamp interleaved into conversation files. Think of these files like attachments. Attachments are digested today in that they are only part of an email for transport until they are safely saved as files. Attachments stored in the stomach of today's email systems can easily clog the system and give that system a stomach ache such that your email stops digesting anything because your email account is full. No space left.

All conversation files intended for human consumption are stripped  all the technical information required for replying, forwarding and creating email itself when read by humans. This makes conversation files like reading a book. Just text. And recall that synchronous communications are digested as well. This means all the conversation modes of phone, chat, text, email and what not are rolled up into conversation files. The PARI system keeps a separate technical conversation for itself that contains all the technical information required for communication applications.

This means that one of the PARI main functions is to technically manage communication application interfacing with any conversation. All applications have equal reach into any communication in a conversation independent of the application that initially inserted the communication for digestion. PARI is your answering service. Text, email, voice mail and all communication pathways are managed as one.

Now that's revolutionizing email.

But that's not all! But wait, there's more!

The PARI is responsible for aggregating or digesting all communication from all applications into streams of conversations. That's the first leap.

The PARI second leap is the tie in to information. If you have ever used Wikipedia then you know that Wikepia has hyper-links within each document that points more information. PARI will do the same. When reading your daily digests of all your communications across all your apps PARI will include different perspectives like dictionary and Wikepdia perspective. Turn on a perspective and now your conversations become enriched with knowledge. Wow! Dictionaries and Wikipedia are just two generic information sources. One can imagine if one were a doctor then medical dictionaries and medical references would be necessary perspectives. The number of perspectives are as endless as our reference sources of information. PARI will be function so as to include any perspective information into further communication, creating a single interface for research rather than bopping to the web and back to email.

Wait, that's not all!

PARI is crucial for two other big fancy pants ideas included in Irreni World Scale. PARI is the query interface into the Data Center on the Moon. In this mode PARI is no longer considered PARI, but just ARI. The Data Center on the Moon is not personal. The reason for it not being personal is that ARI manages conversations for all humans and in doing so correlates and enriches queries for information. Think of this as Google SEO but without the advertising tie ins. ARI is so much more than just keywords though. ARI is conversations. ARI is a third leap over today's search engines; conversations and not just keywords.

But wait! there's even more!

PARI ties into the VERY. The Virtual Environment, Reality You is key piece of Irreni I've yet to touch upon. The best way to think of the VERY is like the movie, "The Matrix". Everyone has virtual them in the VERY. One and only one. The rules of the VERY are as much like Earth as possible. This will make the interface intuitive. The big exception will be teleportation. Everyone can teleport. Instantly. The thrust of the VERY is to support trade and voting. We can all meet in the VERY to trade goods and have conversations about life.

The PARI fourth leap is in the VERY itself. Everyone in the VERY is allowed to have an answering service avatar, their PARI. It is easy to imagine that once inside the VERY then celebrities and other famous people might be overwhelmed with people teleporting in to meet them. This is where the answering service comes in. Before teleporting to someone  you will need approval by the answering service (or the person in question if the answer the request for teleport).

PARI is like the previous blog posts respecting voting in that increases franchise power. PARI improves conversations and conversations equal consensus. Everyone having better communication means everyone has more power. Couple PARI with the VERY and now anyone on the planet can easily talk to anyone else without physical constraints. Power to the people.

Initially PARI doesn't really replace email. Instead PARI is a communication engine designed to manage or digest all synchronous and asynchronous electronic communication into conversations that can then be reformulated for any communication device and protocol.  Ultimately email is just an unnecessary middleman. The PARI becomes the interface of all communications as well as the digestive tract turning all forms of communication into conversations.

PARI's final leap is that PARI enables humans to govern themselves. PARI enables us to get to a place where the government that governs least governs best because the people govern themselves and communication is the key to people managing themselves: PARI.

Corruption Voting, Auction Power

Hi! Happy Saturday!

Two posts today! Woot!

The last couple of Irreni posts have been about hugely, greatly and vastly increasing the power of our vote franchise.

This post follows that trend.

Corruption voting solves a problem the founders who wrote the U.S. Constitution couldn't figure out.

"Whoa be the day the voters realize they can vote themselves money."
-John Adams
The people who founded this country would be absolutely amazed at our state of technological advancement. Amazed. How can our success in technology not amaze? On the flip side, they would be absolutely disappointed at our politics. Our politics today have not advanced since 1789. In fact, we have regressed if one looks at , God on the money, God in a pledge, Faith-based initiatives and other encroachments religion has made into establishing footholds in the government. Our national motto use to be E Pluribus Unum (from many one). Irreni is dedicated to our original motto, E Pluribus Unum, and dispels, yet again, In God We Trust. We need to go back politically to where we started: E Pluribus Unum. How sad it is that our politics are retrograde.

However, I think  the founders would be mostly disappointed in our lack of desire to solve a fundamental problem they couldn't fix: voters voting themselves money.

Strictly from a mathematical perspective this problem was actually solved even before 1789.  The premise goes something like this: give everyone a salary of a million dollars per year and then a million dollars becomes meaningless.

Corruption voting as imagined by Irreni World Scale opens up the field of corruption to every single person on the planet. Corruption is such a problem today because currently only a handful of politicians need to be bribed. Corruption has real value. Corruption voting dilutes corruption by enabling corruption across the board. Think of corruption voting this way: today our votes are diluted due to the scale of voting: millions of votes. We are going to apply this dilution to corruption.

Problem solved. Voting yourself money becomes moot when everyone is being bribed.

The implementation of corruption voting requires the Irreni Vote Bank and public voting. Every vote bought becomes a matter of public record. This sets up in effect an auction. The Koch brothers offer to pay you $100 to cast a vote in a vote-chain that elects their candidate. That $100 dollars becomes the opening bid for someone else to counter and potentially a bidding war ensues. The rich cancel each other out. Everyone gets a million dollars in corruption money.

Corruption is a part of human nature. Cicero pointed out that the fall of democracy in Rome was due in no small part to a system that did not account for corruption. Our system of government today has a very weak form of corruption capacity: co-equal branches of government.

Since corruption is at the very core of human nature it will play out and in a fervid frenzy. Neutralizing corruption is the way to go and not some unrealistic belief that people are above corruption that we have today.

There will always be people willing to bribe and people who have more interest in money than politics. Corruption is always personal and has no ideology for people to form a movement behind other than the money itself. The votes these people cast will cancel out because the field of people willing to buy votes and willing to be bought will be statistically arbitrary.

But that's not all. Six-degrees of voting introduces a new twist to corruption voting. Candidates who garner the most voters will do so because of large voting blocks. If someone in a chain of votes takes a bribe to switch votes then they are at risk of all their supporters changing votes for them because of the corruption. Peer pressure and shame come into direct play with people you know. Six-degrees brings into play a new set of checks-and-balances because corruption has a natural check, a check that is as fundamental to human nature as corruption itself: shame and peer pressure.

In six-degrees of voting any person can represent a large voting block of voters. Changing a vote may mean they lose the block. In order to ensure a bribe has the effect then the bribe may need to be filtered down. For example, assume Sally represents one million voters as a block. People all over the US have come to trust Sally's voting for candidates. Sally really wants to take a bribe contingent on her being able to continue to deliver those million votes.  Sally then begins a process of spreading the million dollars within her block to ensure cohesion and the bribe becomes diluted.

The vote bank, public voting and corruption voting when combined together fixes the problem with people voting themselves money by paying them that money up front for the vote itself. Corruption is now spread amongst all the voters and the corruption dollar becomes as diluted and worthless as our votes  are diluted and worthless today in the existing system.

No Secret Ballots, Public Voting

Hi! Happy Saturday!

Mmmm, the last Irreni blog post was about empowering the voting franchise by six-degrees of voting. Conversations equal consensus.

Today I'm going to further expand that power of your vote with public voting.

Information is power. Secret information is not power. Therefore, here now and forever more let all our votes cast be a matter of public record.

The Vote Bank enables public voting. The Vote Bank will just be another app on your smart phone, your tablet or laptop. The Irreni World Scale solution for hosting the vote bank application is the Device of Life (DOL). The DOL is part smart-phone, part tablet. The DOL also has a protocol to access the Data Center on the Moon (DCOTM).

When I talk to folks about abolishing private ballots the first objection is always on the order of persecution, "my boss might fire me."

  1. Bullies will be bullies, tyrants will be tyrants. If your boss or family member is going to persecute you because of your vote record then odds are they are persecuting you already for a myriad of things. Public voting is not going to induce new bullies or make bullying worse.
  2. Political leanings are readily apparent. I can have a five minute political conversation with you or anyone else and get a fairly good sense of how they will vote. Even if that sense is wrong it doesn't matter with respect to number 1.) above: bullies will be bullies. If your boss is really going to fire you for your politics then your actual vote is immaterial. Bullies are not exactly renowned for being fair or non-judgemental.
  3. Public voting encourages conversation. People close to you can look up your voting record and start conversations, good or bad.
  4. Power is increased when talking about voting. Talking politics has all kinds of negatives associated with it in the public mind. Power always cuts both ways so public voting is our way of saying that all things considered, the negative risks are worth the positive of talking politics.
  5. Six-degrees voting. Irreni World Scale changes the way we vote. We don't vote for candidates directly, not any more. Instead we vote for people who we know. This is crucial when it comes to power dynamics. Say someone comes after you for a vote you cast. Well, first you can say, "I trust this person." Second, and most importantly, horse trading comes back into the picture. When voting for who you know it will be natural to say, "I'm voting for Bob on this issue so that Bob will vote for Mary on that issue."
  6. Polls are dead. Polls are no longer needed. On any given issue every single person 24 hours/day, 7 days/week has a vote to cast. No polling. On any given issue people can register a public vote. All votes are public.
  7. Corruption voting. I'm going to cover corruption voting in my next post. For now think of corruption voting as cutting out the middleman. Instead of the Koch brothers spending billions on campaign ads, the Koch brothers give you the money. What's not to like?
  8. Don't tell me that an American public willing to send our youth to war to defend our freedom are not willing to risk the dangers of public ballots so as to build up that very freedom having difficult conversations. Conversations are not bullets.
The most important aspect of public voting is us having conversations. As the masses,  as 7 billion people on this planet we out number the 1% by 99%. The opportunity for positive power vs. direct political persecution is 99:1. Why throw the 99% positive power opportunity away for fear of the 1% negative persecution? That's what we give up today with secret ballots. We the people need to find ground for consensus as the masses. This consensus of the masses pushed upward to our politicians will stand the test of time for support politically. Public voting allows us to validate in real-time, every second of every day how well consensus is changing. Every heart, every mind that is won over for something like gay marriage gets registered. Power. Power, power, power.

Public voting is power. Secret voting is not because of vote dilution on large scales. Public voting via the vote bank, six-degrees voting and the DOL promotes public awareness of changing public sentiment.

Public voting represents power by enabling mass consensus. This new mass consensus will enable us to treat politics as politics en mass by demonstrating a new found sense of deal making amongst we the people and establishing new customs and new culture to compromise our ideas across a spectrum of political issues we face daily.

Cheers!

Consenus of Seven Billion

Hi! Happy Thursday!

Today I'm going to introduce consensus voting. For some of you this will elaborate a little more on the Vote Bank and six-degrees voting. Tasty! The Vote Bank is one of the twenty big fancy pants ideas Irreni is founded upon. The idea is simple enough. to make your vote count where today your vote is lost in thousands, hundred-of-thousands and millions.

Conversation equals consensus.

We need to start talking about our votes. I'm not talking about confirmation biased web sites and their comments. I mean to each other. The Vote Bank's purpose is the same as the Irreni right to individual currency; it is intended to improve the power of the voting franchise for the individual voter. It does so by encouraging conversation and building consensus between us voters first so we can do a better job of helping our politicians build consensus. If we can come to a consensus then we can  communicate that consensus to the powers that be.

Voting is ultimately about making decisions, even if through a proxy or representative. When we think about making a decision then the best decisions are where we all agree, a.k.a. unanimous decision. Everyone buys into the decision and everyone supports it.

Unanimous decisions, however, don't scale. Sure, every once in awhile you can even see the U.S. Congress unanimously agree upon something. But rarely and this is because unanimous decisions require small groups. Like say 10, 20 or 30. Much more than 30 people and unanimous decisions are nigh impossible. Consensus is nigh impossible.

What we have today in American politics is one person, one vote voting that results in disenfranchising dilution.  A representative today in the House represents on the order of one million people. One million people. Get your mind around that. A representative cannot answer to one million people. But things get more ridiculous than that. The Senators from the Great State of California represent 30 million people. What can a Senator from California vote on and in any way claim to represent California? Thirty million people is an impossible consensus. Everyone's vote is diluted with large pools of voters; albeit a pool of one million or thirty million. It just doesn't matter whether the topic is abortion, guns, capital punishment, welfare, or you name it. Our votes are diluted.

You know that old saying where you can please all of the people some of the time, some of the people all the time, but not all of the people all of the time? It doesn't scale. That doctrine as told by Abe Lincoln doesn't scale. You can't please some of the people some of the time. This is because politicians vote on a spectrum of issues where sooner or later everyone is pissed off about something. You may be pleased with your representative about say guns, but pissed off about welfare.  The result is that when weighing "some of the time" being pleased voters ultimately become more displeased with their representatives. As a result today Republicans and Democrats alike are equally distrusted and disliked by their voters and Congress has a 10% approval rating. So with large scales of voters you cannot in fact please some of the people some of the time effectively because no one person represents a single topic. You can't please one million across the wide spectrum of politics today and the things representatives displease us on far outweigh the things they please us on.

So what can we do? What can we do to scale voting? How can we fix this? Nothing is going to change until we change the system. We have to change the system.  Just wiping the slate clean and voting in a new slate of candidates is not going to change a single thing. The fundamental problem is one of scale.

Pleasing people has a method: consensus and conversation equals consensus. How do we scale consensus with one-million people. Seven-billion people. How? We scale conversation to get to consensus.

The key to understanding scaling consensus is to understand compromise. What's missing in our public conversations is good old fashioned horse trading among us voter folk,  we the people. We need to understand as a people that there needs to be compromise. No issue lives in isolation. At the local level, at the family level we accept compromises. We need to take local consensus and  scale that up.

For example, with our siblings we might agree for everyone to come to our house for Christmas and another sibling's house for Thanksgiving. A compromise. While we might prefer having both Christmas and Thanksgiving at our house we understand with consensus we compromise. Consensus comes natural on a small scale.

And on a large scale? When was the last time Liberals and Conservatives did some horse trading say in public on tough issues such as abortion and guns and we the public bought into it?  For example a Congress person might say,  "we'll agree to lay off our campaign against guns if you agree to lay off your campaign against abortions." That just sounds weird because it is. Large scale compromise is missing from our political landscape.

The vote bank with six-degrees voting brings large scale compromise into our political landscape.

How do we coordinate conversations of consensus?

You ready? Here we go.

We can't build consensus with 7 billion. So we are going to build consensus with a tribe of about thirty people. Further, for consensus to work Irreni requires heterogeneous tribes and not homogeneous tribes. It is no good to form homogeneous tribes where everyone is of the same culture, same religion, same ethnicity, same language and same everything in the modern world. Homogeneous thinking is antithetical to modernity, a world with billions has billions of variations to consider. In the modern era we all need to strive to find our diverse tribe with the people who are the most not like us and yet at the same time they like us personally. <3

Essentially we want our tribes to be a sample of the world political spectrum. This way consensus means broking agreements with those unlike yourself. Once you get the hang of consensus in your tribe with people you talk too and people you can have dinner with then consensus at large scales become simply extensions.

Conversations are promoted by the elimination of the way we vote today: one person, one vote. Instead Irreni promotes six-degrees voting, which means you can only vote for people you know. There is only a chain of six people between you, the people you know and any other person on this planet. Just six people.  Every community will put its own cap on how many people you can claim to know and how you go about authenticating that relationship. Once you have your legal tribe of people who both like you and disagree with you on many issues then consensus building is off to the races. You vote for Bob, he gets one vote. Bob votes for Alice who now has 2 votes, your vote and Bob's vote. and so on until large voting blocks of voters are built.

And that's how you scale. You first learn how to implement consensus in your day-to-day life by voting for people you know. People you can talk too. Then you begin to appreciate what your representatives are up against, the competing tensions and priorities. To whit, you walk a mile in politicians shoes with your own diverse tribe. Soon a national conversation about horse trading of competing issues will fall into place.

Six-degrees of voting. Vote for who you know. Whoever you vote for becomes your proxy. They vote for someone else who then becomes a proxy for the entire chain. This forms a voting block. These voting blocks grow until they begin to resemble the size of a political party. Except. Except they are not political parties because they are throw-away and short lived. Six-degrees voting blocks are good for exactly one candidate and one election. Every election has distinct blocks. Other elections you can participate in completely different voting blocks. Political parities that we have today dissolve over night. What we have instead of permanent political parties are flash parties analogous to flash mobs. These flash parties are voting blocks  good for one candidate, one election and then gone. A good defense against corruption where parties today are all about corruption.

Conversations equal consensus.

Romance, Love and Joy: The Data Center on the Moon

Hi! Happy Thursday!

Mmmmmm.

Political technical details are boring.

Scale is boring. Irreni World Scale is designed for 7 billion people. That's really boring.

Today, I'd like to take a break from boring. Today, I'd like to take your breathe away...

...by going to the Moon where there is no air there. ha!

People are culture. The best way we can live with each other in concert is if we all feel connected. The Internet today is the great connector, bringing us all together. The Internet today is bringing humans to new levels of concerted connection never before possible or imagined.

The Internet today is best defined as permanent connection only. The Internet has no permanent data in and of itself. But what if? What if we added permanent global data to the global connection? What if we had the Data Center on the Moon?

Irreni World Scale is a romance of seven billion people. Of all the people on Earth. The Data Center on the Moon (DCOTM) represents permanent data to add to Internet's permanent connection.

The DCOTM brings us all closer together by enlarging the scope of history to everyone and not just the famous and influential. Every one's history is recorded permanently in the DCOTM.

The DCOTM is designed to hold all public data for all of us here on Earth. Every scientific understanding, every caring work of literature,  every natural living thing catalogued and photographed forever more. Every scrap of knowledge is deliberately permanently stored in perpetuity. An act of pure love for children of generations unseen.

Our collective destiny is not just to be good stewards of planet Earth for the benefit of every generation to come. Our collective destiny is also to be good stewards of all knowledge ever attained by people for the benefit of every generation to come. Peace, love and understanding. Peace is Earth. Love is us taking care of each other. Understanding is the Data Center on the Moon.

There is no more love, no bigger romance and no more intimate joy then the legacies we leave for future generations to come, people we never meet. Today we can feel that love from our ancestors that came before us. It is all around us. Just think: our generation could be the first generation to make a home for permanent public education of all knowledge available to all people on Earth in our time. We, us!

Why the Moon? Because I believe the story itself needs to be a romance. The story of building the data store of all knowledge itself needs to be a story.

The Data Center on the Moon is romantic story because we do not yet possess the technology to build it. Building the Data Center on the Moon is akin to the romantic space period in the 1960s of going to the Moon. We have to work together globally to meet unforeseen challenges to make it happen.  This time we are staying on the moon: a new chapter in humankind’s romance with our generations unseen.

The Data Center on the Moon is a romantic story because it will take multiple generations to build and many more to scale. What better foundation of improving humankind than to plan projects that span hundreds of years and yet benefit generations even more? The Egyptian Pyramids took many life-times to build and yet far more generations later they are still standing. The Data Center on the Moon is intended to be as long in building and long in standing.

The Data Center on the Moon is a romantic story because it will be an all-out, everyone-in, Earth scale project. Like the International space station every single country and every single person can have opportunity to get involved. The act of implementing the project, like implementing the ISS, will be a deliberate act of global cooperation.

The Data Center on the Moon is a romantic story because it blows your mind. The Data Center on the Moon will be first human wonder to be built off Earth. The idea is quite unbelievable in scale, breath-taking in contemplating once completed and breath-taking in romantic dreaming.

The Data Center on the Moon is a romantic story because it is a permanent gift to all our future generations of humans. The DCOTM will require an Earth in a permanent state of advanced technology and cooperation to maintain. If we can maintain it for hundreds and thousands of years what a generational romance it will be. Someday when the Moon is no longer a space challenge, but a space backyard easily obtainable then the next generation can build the next data center even further to expand our imaginations, expand our dreams and expand our survival options to planets and worlds beyond Earth.

Pluto being in the news recently then I was thinking today perhaps someday humans will build a data center on Pluto. So I wrote this blog posting.  This Pluto Data Center will be the expanse of human knowledge all space travellers will encounter first when coming back to our solar system, and rely on last as they make their way out. Humans connecting.

Information, not gold, is the ultimate treasure. The Data Center on the Moon is a gift of the ultimate treasure to everyone to come in the future. How much more intimate joy can there be than that to feel the effort and the purpose of so many who have come before?

Group Hug! The Right to Individual Currency

Hi! Happy Thursday!

So I kinda have a theme going here.

For two days now I have presented a single lesson to take away from Irreni.

Two days ago I stated politics today needs new bottom-up systems to balance top-down politics. One person, one vote has run its course and is no longer effective. Today's representative in Congress represents close to one million American voters. One person, one vote is nonsense. A Senator from the great state of California represents 30 million voters. Pick an issue, any issue, and that representative will find millions on any side of the issue. A Senator can ignore all voters equally and still find support.

Yesterday I presented another single lesson to take away from Irreni: designs don't automatically scale. What works at one order of magnitude doesn't work at another order of magnitude. Sometimes you can tweak a design with small innovations but that may come at the price of changing the infrastructure surrounding the design. Then again, sometimes a design won't scale at all and needs to be replaced.

Both lessons above were presented using technology and the principles of computer science as applied to politics.

Now I'd like to walk you through how we in Silicon Valley solve problems. After all this Irreni World Scale is not just about identifying problems, but providing solutions as well.

We use science. In technology we use science, not dogma, to inform our design solutions. It may surprise you to know that in fact the science for software is not just about with the science of computers, but the science of human nature as well. Software engineering is heavily invested in human usability, humans using software. Computer colleges all over the world work collaboratively with the cognitive sciences including psychology to design software. We do this to make software usable.

"Usability is like oxygen, you never notice it until it is missing."
-Unknown

At the most fundamental of human nature our brains distinguish us from other animals in three key aspects: tools, social groups and language. One of these three, social groups, is key to solving the bottom-up design flaw with democracy today.

When I look at the design flaw of scaling voting as a bottom-up system then I see a social group problem. One person, one vote doesn't scale as a social group design because there are millions of voters that are voting for a single individual. Every vote is just statistical noise.

So how do we come up with a bug fix?  Let us examine what one person, one vote means.

  1. Franchise is power. People who can vote have power, those cannot vote do not. Dilute the single vote enough and all franchise is lost for everyone.
  2. Candidates cannot get to know one million voters. At the scale of one million voters candidates can only be sold.
  3. Political parties formed immediately after one person, one vote was implemented. These parties help people vote for groups of like minded people as a hedge against not knowing the candidate. Today, two political parties cannot represent 300 million voters. It is a ludicrous idea to think they can.
Looking at the above three traits of one person, one vote then let us see if we can devise a new bottom-up system that re-establishes power from the bottom-up.

First we try to innovate, meaning we will make some minor changes. If that doesn't work then we will replace.

Unfortunately we have to fast-forward here given this is a blog post.  I'm going to skip over the long, boring details of how we get to the solution and just present the solution: individual currency.

The solution is we swap out the method of franchise. Think of this as redesigning the automobile by swapping out the carburetor in the design of a car with a fuel injector. A carburetor was too general in its design where one carburetor controlled the mixture for all the cylinders. Fuel injection was invented as a way to essentially have one carburetor per cylinder.  The main point of this automobile metaphor is that a carburetor and a fuel injector have the same purpose, mixing fuel,  but are completely different in form.  We are going to replace one form of franchise, voting, with another form of franchise, currency. Voting and currency are both franchises, just of a different form.

We use currency as a new form of franchise by implementing a new right, a  mathematical assumption, so as to scale franchise. Our new assumption  that every individual is allowed the right to individual currency. Everyone is allowed to print their own money. Further more governments are not allowed to tax any currency the government does not itself issue. This means everyone's individual currency is tax free! We support our government by trading in government currency as much as possible, and conversely protest our government by trading as little as possible.

The practicality of everyone printing their own money is possible with computers. That is because we don't need to print money. No, all we need is a handheld computer with accounts. All individual currency exchanges can be done with a simple iPhone app. Easy peasy.

In 1789 there were no computers. The fact that every State had their own currency in 1789 was an ugly mess. So the founders prohibited such a thing. It made sense back then. Now we have computers, in our hands.  Nowadays currency trading of all kinds for all countries is accomplished every second of every day by computers. Having hundreds of currencies in play is nothing for computers. Having millions will also be nothing for computers. Currency exchange is simple arithmetic.

Computers solve the logistical problem of an abundance of currencies.

But what about taxes? Why would anyone trade in government currency?

Let's bring it home now. Let's talk social groups and fundamental human nature. Prior to 1900 upwards of 90% of all Americans grew their own food. Think about it. Transportation of goods was limited to horses and trains. Then after 1900 along comes the automobile, aircraft and container ships. By the year 2000 only 2% of the world's population is feeding the other 98%. The means 98% of us are dependent on the other 2% for food. When anthropologists state that social groups fundamentally differentiate our brains from other animals social this is what they mean where billions of us rely on a very small fraction of that billions to feed us all. No other animal comes close to this kind of social group dependency.

This social group fact of human nature is important to the viability of individual currency adoption and to the usability of an individual currency. You wouldn't be alone if your first impression of individual currency is that it wouldn't work because it means no one would ever pay taxes again, right? After all why trade in a government currency when you can have your own tax-free currency?

Well, guess what? The 2% of us that feed the other 98% world are going to need to trade in government currency because THEY DON'T KNOW US SO AS TO TRUST OUR INDIVIDUAL CURRENCY. The upshot is that your right to individual currency will be a local right. Individual currency will be a small amount of franchise power that we each can use to influence the top-down design of politics. We will literally vote with our wallets.

For sure there will be small groups of people that like the Amish will go off the grid, so to speak. But that won't be most of us. Most of us want iPhones, computers, Facebook and food of all varieties grown around the world. The list of social group dependencies that we will all want is vast and will inhibit people from largely trading in anything other than government currency.

If we look back at the list above of three traits of voting then can we can see how the right to individual currency addresses these traits?
  1. Money is power as a franchise. That's obvious.
  2. Individual currency will be fundamentally local. Strangers won't trust your currency.
  3. Making the right of currency an individual right means the rich and powerful cannot consolidate private currencies into just two currencies the same way political parties consolidate votes to just two parties. Right on.
What this means is that individual currency will allow us all to exercise just a little power, a little franchise to nip at the heels of our central, corrupted, top-down power today. But only nip because we are so dependent on each other. Individual currencies will never provide the kinda trust for loans and commerce the way government backed currency can. In fact individual currencies may only account for 1-2% of GDP given 2% of the world feeds 98%, but that will be enough to get Washington's attention and support the one person, one vote franchise that we have today.

The right to individual currency is just one of twenty, Irreni World Scale big fancy pants ideas. It represents a new bottom-up system design change that is meant to adjust franchise for scale. It is additive and not a replacement for voting. In other words, individual currency doesn’t replace one person, one vote. Individual currency is another franchise for democracy.

Irreni World Scale does have new systems of voting to address the specific problem with dilution of one-person, one-vote: specifically using a new vote bank; using a new voting process called six-degrees voting; and changing private voting to public voting. But explaining all that will have to wait for another blog post.

Claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. Irreni World Scale is calling for massive scientific experiments to prove all claims of social change. This call for massive scientific experiments even applies to Irreni itself and includes enforcing experiments for the right to individual currency. These new Irreni ideas need to be proven to be true with science by conducting experiments and refining things as they fail and so on.

Cheers!

How To Scale, 101

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday I blogged about applying Silicon Valley know-how to politics,  how under the covers of Irreni World Scale lie the principles Silicon Valley computing. Specifically I went on about the process of innovation being agile. Agile is defined to be a constant back-and-forth of top-down versus bottom-up design approaches called iterations. We can think of these top-down versus bottom up iterations as a revolution, a revolution of a wheel of design  where top and bottom of the wheel represent top-down vs. bottom-up design perspectives respectively. The new form of 21st Century revolution then is innovation brought on by each revolution of the design.

I then made the statement that if there were only one thing to learn from Irreni World Scale it is this: that politics today needs new bottom-up systems for people to make decisions for themselves.

Today, I'm going to change the one thing to learn from Irreni because there is an even more important fundamental principle within Irreni. Here it is: if there is only one thing to learn from Irreni World scale it is that a design that works at one degree of scale doesn't just automatically work at larger degrees of scale.

Today we have the same US Constitution at 300 million people as we started with in 1789 with 10 million people. That's a whole order of magnitude of change. Even more important is the degree of technological change. Our technological advances have grown by orders of magnitude far exceeding 10, 100 or 1,000. Think nuclear bombs vs. cannons.

In computers and engineering in general we would never just assume that what works at one scale would work at a larger order of magnitude larger. In fact, quite the opposite. We know designs do not automatically scale. Yet for some reason in politics we assume designs scale? Wha?

Let us consider the automobile. The very first automobile was invented when there were no paved roads, just roads for horses. Given that then even in 1910 if you had an automobile that could go faster than 10 mph the road infrastructure wouldn't support it. What road in 1910 would support a sustained  65mph for hours on end like we drive on freeways today?

Over the course of 100 years our automobiles have scaled an order of magnitude in speed driven, from 10mph to 100mph. We drive ten times faster than in 1910. But to do this the road infrastructure had to change completely. If we still had the roads of 1910 then we would still be driving 10mph.

Further consider this: is there ever a scenario where a 747 Boeing airliner jet could be used as a matter-of-course to drive 60mph? Of course not. The point being that as scale increases what is appropriate for a design at one magnitude is not appropriate for another.  Eventually a design like the automobile no longer scales at all,  the automobile topped out at 100mph on the highways. If you want to go faster than 100mph then you'll need to take a train or a plane. If you want to drive to the grocery store then you'd never take something on the scale of a plane or train.

And in politics? Do all designs scale to any level of population and technological change?  Think about it.  How have we re-designed the US Constitution to scale?

So the one true lesson from Irreni to learn above all others is not just that politics in 2015 needs new bottom-up systems as I stated yesterday, but rather that designs that work at one degree of scale do not work at larger degrees of scale. All designs need to be changed to scale.

There are corollary lessons just iterated as well. One is that scale out of a particular design much as the automobile improved speed is only possible if supporting infrastructure is changed completely. Roads today are nothing like roads in 1910. Another corollary lesson is that eventually a design fails to scale such as an automobile and so needs to be replaced entirely with something different, such as airplanes replace automobiles at speeds faster than 100mph.

Have we applied any of these scale lessons to the US Constitution? No. We haven't. We have yet to learn the principles of design scale, a lesson of Irreni World Scale. Today we treat the US constitution as if it can scale without change regardless of the changes in levels of population and technological growth. Further we haven't changed the infrastructure, our States, to support the primary design of the US Constitution as it was gradually amended. We haven't rewritten the US Constitution when it failed completely.

Irreni World Scale acknowledges that a design for one scale cannot be assumed to work at a larger scale. Scale requires innovation of a design, scale requires supporting infrastructure changes as well as scale requires eventual replacement of a design with something new altogether. These principles of design scale are not Silicon Valley computing specific. However, what is Silicon Valley specific is that we, of all people, here in Silicon Valley should be acknowledging the design scale principles and we should be clamoring for and leading the way of scaling political design. We know the design truth of scale in our very bones and so it is incumbent on us in high tech to spread the word: designs don't scale without innovation, designs need supporting infrastructure changes to scale; and designs need eventual replacement.

High Tech Politics

Hi! Happy Tuesday!

Irreni World Scale is bursting with computer science principles to be applied to politics. Why? Because we humans know how to scale computers where both Google and Facebook have over one billion users today.  Irreni is a Silicon Valley political solution not just because of high tech advocacy such as The Data Center on the Moon or the Device of Life. Irreni is also a Silicon Valley political solution because it applies the design of scale we've learned how to practice in Silicon Valley where our politics today needs to scale but is sorely lacking in that department.

Yesterday I blogged about Greece and how Greece is a prime example of a failed state that didn't scale. Yesterday I offered analysis that failed states like Greece and Syria and Sudan are burgeoning in modern times because politics doesn't scale due to a lack of bottom up approach, a lack of people making decisions themselves.

Today I'd like to take a further elaborate and take a moment here to go on about an important computer science design principle; a Silicon Valley staple of the process of being agile.

Being agile means iterations. Agile means innovation.

The agile process starts with a principle that has been known for a long time in computer science: throw away your first prototype and start over. Have we scrapped the US Constitution yet? No. Why not? Because we have always had a fever-pitched, religious, irrational reverence for the document. That is a helluva a way not to scale, to worship something.

The US Constitution is our first effort and should be thrown out and rewritten. If in fact the US Constitution as a piece of peopleware were under the control of Silicon Valley then it would be unrecognisable from its original form because naive software doesn't scale. It would have been completely rewritten.

Besides throwing out a first effort then what does agile mean by iterations? What agile means is a constant revolution of top-down vs. bottom-up design.

Prior to the agile process there was the waterfall process. The waterfall design process of software was kinda like ideology in that it was top-down, claims were made without evidence.

The bottom-up side to the agile process involves something called test-driven development. In test-driven development first the APIs or claims are written out. Then tests for those APIs or claims are written before even a single line of code. As the design claims come to together and the tests start to fail then the failures of bottom up effort are fed back  into the agile process so as to inform the top-down design.

Irreni takes a test-driven approach and thus a bottom up approach to politics by calling for massive scientific experiments of societal, political claims. The failure or success of these test results are then meant to be fed back into the top-down design of politics.

Using exclusively a top-down or a bottom-up design is short sighted. We know this from experience in Silicon Valley. We have historically taken a top-down only approach with computer science and since the year 2000 have moved on to iterating between top-down and bottom-up. Politics today needs the same design process applied.

But the situation is worse in the US than just needing to add new bottom up processes; the bottom-up process that once existed now no longer functions. What little bottom up feedback we once had in the US has been completely torn asunder. The absolute proof is that our representatives have a 10% approval rating and a 90% incumbency rate. Our bottom-up feedback, which is our only bottom-up feedback, is voting on legislators to inform the top down. However, we are no longer changing who gets elected when we do not approve.  Why? Because the system is only offering bad choices. The bottom-up aspect of politics today is 100% broken.

If there is only one lesson you learn from Irreni World Scale then let it be this: a bottom-up feedback loop needs to be inserted into the politics today. But Irreni offers so much more than a single lesson that we've learned here in Silicon Valley about how to scale. Why not apply all that we have learned?

Innovation involves applying a feedback loop of learned experience during the process of design. Apply a feedback loop of immediate testing from the bottom to inform the top. This constant iteration can be thought of as a wheel turning where the top becomes the bottom and vice-versa. Each iteration then becomes a revolution of the wheel of design. In this sense innovation is revolution, a revolution of the perspective wheel.

But that is not what people mean when we use the word revolution as applied to politics. Revolution generally means a whole replacement of a government as opposed to incremental innovation. Whole replacement is not going to work today.  The US constitution is no longer a prototype in an alpha stage so sadly a complete rewrite is not an option today like it was 200 years ago. But we can innovate. And we should start today.

Revolution as defined to be an iteration of the design wheel from top-down to bottom-up is very much a Silicon Valley way of thinking, a Silicon Valley process. Revolution as defined as innovation is what Irreni World Scale means by its slogan "Silicon Valley scale applied to political scale in the 21st Century". Well, that and the actual technology of a Data Center on the Moon, the Device of Life, the Virtual Environment Reality You and the V.E.R.Y. Terran Space Port.  ha!

Revolution as innovation and not overthrowing a government is a Silicon Valley principle of agile scale. Welcome to the 21st century.

Cheers!

Irreni VS Greece and No Solutions

Hi! Happy Monday!

Greece is all the hot topic these days now isn't it. Everyone is staring in the face  of the hard cold political fact that there just are no political solutions.

Greece interests me because Greece is a case of scale. Whatever Greece ends up being, it didn't scale in its current form.

At this precise moment Greece is kinda like cloud watching. Everyone sees what they want to see, what they imagine. I see chocolates, you see a bunny rabbit. Recently I saw an Internet meme that stated Greece's fate will be the fate of the US if Bernie Sanders is elected President. After all, Bernie Sanders is a socialist. Such a silly pattern to apply because one failed socialist state doesn't make for a statistical case. Not even close. Most of Europe is socialist in some form or another as well as most of the Nordic countries. Many socialist countries are world ranked as the best places on Earth to live. Still, many conservative Americans see Greece as the ultimate outcome of liberal politics: lazy citizens and people wanting everything for free.

For me the cloud called Greece represents one of a growing trend of modern failed states due to no political solutions. Greece is a cloud that looks a lot like Arab spring states after their revolution. There just are no political answers. As time goes on we are going to see a world with ever increasing numbers of failed states that weren't failed yesterday:  Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Iraq and now Greece to name a few. Why? Because politics no longer works because it no longer scales. Politics based on the old ideas of democracy, socialism, communism and even authoritarianism just don't scale. Every single one of these is failed, completely. The US is not a democracy, but a corruption state. For all you nitpickers out there when I say democracy, I mean what every democracy anywhere means: representative, republic democracy and not direct democracy. The head can no longer govern the body as defined by the very word politics. There are no bloody answers for governing because none of the political ideas have a bottom up approach to decision making that scales. All political ideologies are just top down politics that have run their course.

In other words, Greece is a cloud where I see a perfect case to made for Irreni: revolutions can be made today but there are no after-revolution answers. Irreni represents the "political future" with decision making from the bottom up being built out. If the people start making enough of the decisions then top-down politics will function again. You say you want a new American revolution to combat corruption, but what would you get afterwards?

I'd also like to look in the cloud that is Greece and see another Greece that happened in Europe not to long ago. You may not recall. Let me jog your memory. The other Greece was called East Germany.

After the WALL came down in Germany in 1989 there was a huge question: was West Germany going to be taken down by East Germany or could East Germany be built up to match West Germany? The money at that time is that it would be impossible for West Germany to take on that much of an economic deficit and still come out ahead. East Germany would bring down West Germany.

And yet? West Germany did it. The "Greece" of 1990s was East German and yet today no one talks about there being any economic distinction between the two sides of Germany.

Germany could do for Greece what Germany did for East Germany. East Germany was communist for many years.

So what is the difference between Greece of today and East Germany of 1989? Culture. Culture is the difference. And time. 2015 is not 1989. Addressing culture  and the new information era are key to the Irreni process.

In the coming weeks and months people like me are going to look at Greece and see what they want. But ask yourself these questions: what will work? What comes after a revolution? Why was communist East Germany so ably be managed by West Germany in 1989 but now socialist Greece cannot be managed by Germany today?

Cheers!

Replacing Politics with Life

Hi! Happy Sunday!

Hope you are all feeling well and being zany zappy! Not too often you can find zee alliteration, eh?

Zany Zappy!

Zany Zappy!

Zany Zappy!

Irreni World Scale takes unusual positions with respect to fixing politics:
  1. System not policy. IWS is a scalable system of politics that scales from tribe, to continent, to planet, to solar system and beyond!
  2. Individuals not the leaders. Irreni focuses on empowering you, the individual, and not the heads or the leaders. The objective was stated by Thomas Jefferson, "The government that governs best governs least because the people govern themselves.
  3. Technology of the day. Empowering everyone is far more complicated then empowering a governing body, a President or a Congress. Irreni is not possible at all without technology. Irreni World Scale requires a minimum technology of the Internet, massive education, massive storage, massive communication and individual hand-held devices connected to all of these.
  4. Culture. Irreni requires everyone promote the kind of culture they want to live in. The Irreni system then is used to mash up the wants and desires of every one of us.
  5. Relative morality. Rights represent a sort of absolute morality. Rights smack of religion and dogma. Irreni rights are assumptions, not morality. We assume everyone has the right to individual currency. In some sense Irreni rights are like the forces of physics, the fewer the better. The fewest assumptions or rights a system like Irreni can impose and yet still function for everyone is the ideal.
  6. Social experiments and science. Politics traditionally has been underpinned by ideology. Irreni replaces ideology with innovation. Claims about social efficacy are validated with science.
Another way to look at all these unusual positions is that politics as a concept should not exist. The word politics comes from Latin where 'poli' means head. Politics by definition is about the head governing the body.

Before the onset of public education the concept of politics makes sense. Uneducated people are the most similar people. Someone once said we are all alike in our happiness but distinct in our pain. It can also be said that we are all alike in our ignorance, but distinct in our education.

The politics of a head making a decision for a body works best for an uneducated body where the body can be easily controlled in no small part because the body is homogeneous in composition.

But what if a political body is made of everyone as smart as Albert Einstein? Does a head really make sense then?

Irreni World Scale takes the position of "No", it does not make sense for a head to govern an educated populace. In fact, it is impossible. Irreni aims to replace the head with tribes of educated people. These people take their cultural objectives of the kind of life they want and mash them up with the gestalt tribe-of-tribes. Experiments are conducted to prove that social claims work as opposed to legislation of today that doesn't scale because ideology on paper may never work in practice.. Is health care a right?

As Irreni World Scale is successful then life replaces politics. Air, water, land, technology, weapons and all other domains of politics are really just life. Decisions about life. Decisions either we can make or decisions the head can make. Irreni World Scale sides with "we".

Does it make any sense for a judge to decide the fate of a divorce? Or would it make more sense for the community at large?

Today people are totally turned off about politics, turned off about participating in the political system. This is what the heads that are defined as "poli" in the word "politics" want. In some respects this is what they need. Political heads today need us to be disengaged because it is an impossible task to "head" a society with so many competing cultural ideals that result from a heterogeneous culture born of massive education.

It is time to face the music. No government, no government can scale when defined as politics with the head leading the body. We need to step up and own the responsibility of producing non-political systems that focus on individuals first as responsible for defining and managing life and then combines the competing views with science of social experiments. Irreni World Scale just represents my attempt at owning up to that responsibility.

This work of mashing up decisions that affect everyone beginning with individual wants will never be done and never be fixed in processes as people live and die every day and so their individual wants and needs change every day.

Cheers!
