Breaking Bad! Breaking Bread, I mean Breaking Bread!

Image
Hi! Happy Wednesday! These last few posts no one would give you cause for concern if you wryly opined that Irreni World Scale is all about getting us together to talk. I mean, conversations equal consensus has been the tag line. Today we are going to go one step farther and dance together. See what I did there? Get it? One step farther and dance together? ha! Irreni is all about people governing themselves. Because the alternative is all of human history. Oh sure, Democracy has elevated the few doing the ruling of the many to realizing an unprecedented freedom of the many never before seen in history. But still, capitalism has always preyed upon slavery, cheap labor and requires oppression of an underclass. It has too. So, today we choose to move on. The next Irreni step in conversations equal consensus is breaking bad. I mean breaking bread. Dang it. ha! T.V. has rotted my mind. lol. We live in an unprecedented time in human existence. We are no longer in a human race. We

Hi! Happy Sunday! Sometimes when people ask me what Irreni is I joke that it is peopleware, an operating system for people. Irreni is an operating system for people.  The joke is that people treat our US constitution with religious-like emotional attachment. Blah. The US Constitution is just code. The joke is people treat the US Constitution as something other than code. I use Linux as my OS and I'm not emotionally attached to Linux as my computer OS. I just don't like wasting my time on Windows cruft. I am emotionally attached to my time. However, in my life I've used SUSE, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, VAX-VMS, DOS, IRIX, Unix, Free BSD, Berkeley BSD. And now I use Android on my phone. In my mind people should be treating people operating systems (POS) exactly the same way we treat computer OS systems, with detachment. There should be many  competing POS. And, different operations systems for different scales. The OS on my phone, Android, is not the same OS on my laptop, Li

Corruption Voting, Auction Power

Image
Hi! Happy Saturday! Two posts today! Woot! The last couple of Irreni posts have been about hugely, greatly and vastly increasing the power of our vote franchise. This post follows that trend. Corruption voting solves a problem the founders who wrote the U.S. Constitution couldn't figure out. "Whoa be the day the voters realize they can vote themselves money." -John Adams The people who founded this country would be absolutely amazed at our state of technological advancement. Amazed. How can our success in technology not amaze? On the flip side, they would be absolutely disappointed at our politics. Our politics today have not advanced since 1789. In fact, we have regressed if one looks at , God on the money, God in a pledge, Faith-based initiatives and other encroachments religion has made into establishing footholds in the government. Our national motto use to be E Pluribus Unum (from many one). Irreni is dedicated to our original motto, E Pluribus

No Secret Ballots, Public Voting

Image
Hi! Happy Saturday! Mmmm, the last Irreni blog post was about empowering the voting franchise by six-degrees of voting. Conversations equal consensus. Today I'm going to further expand that power of your vote with public voting. Information is power. Secret information is not power. Therefore, here now and forever more let all our votes cast be a matter of public record. The Vote Bank enables public voting. The Vote Bank will just be another app on your smart phone, your tablet or laptop. The Irreni World Scale solution for hosting the vote bank application is the Device of Life (DOL). The DOL is part smart-phone, part tablet. The DOL also has a protocol to access the Data Center on the Moon (DCOTM). When I talk to folks about abolishing private ballots the first objection is always on the order of persecution, "my boss might fire me." Bullies will be bullies, tyrants will be tyrants. If your boss or family member is going to persecute you because of your vot

Consenus of Seven Billion

Hi! Happy Thursday! Today I'm going to introduce consensus voting. For some of you this will elaborate a little more on the Vote Bank and six-degrees voting. Tasty! The Vote Bank is one of the twenty big fancy pants ideas Irreni is founded upon. The idea is simple enough. to make your vote count where today your vote is lost in thousands, hundred-of-thousands and millions. Conversation equals consensus. We need to start talking about our votes. I'm not talking about confirmation biased web sites and their comments. I mean to each other. The Vote Bank's purpose is the same as the Irreni right to individual currency; it is intended to improve the power of the voting franchise for the individual voter. It does so by encouraging conversation and building consensus between us voters first so we can do a better job of helping our politicians build consensus. If we can come to a consensus then we can  communicate that consensus to the powers that be. Voting is ultimately a

Romance, Love and Joy: The Data Center on the Moon

Image
Hi! Happy Thursday! Mmmmmm. Political technical details are boring. Scale is boring. Irreni World Scale is designed for 7 billion people. That's really boring. Today, I'd like to take a break from boring. Today, I'd like to take your breathe away... ...by going to the Moon where there is no air there. ha! People are culture. The best way we can live with each other in concert is if we all feel connected. The Internet today is the great connector, bringing us all together. The Internet today is bringing humans to new levels of concerted connection never before possible or imagined. The Internet today is best defined as permanent connection only. The Internet has no permanent data in and of itself. But what if? What if we added permanent global data to the global connection? What if we had the Data Center on the Moon? Irreni World Scale is a romance of seven billion people. Of all the people on Earth. The Data Center on the Moon (DCOTM) represents permanent da

Group Hug! The Right to Individual Currency

Hi! Happy Thursday! So I kinda have a theme going here. For two days now I have presented a single lesson to take away from Irreni. Two days ago I stated politics today needs new bottom-up systems to balance top-down politics. One person, one vote has run its course and is no longer effective. Today's representative in Congress represents close to one million American voters. One person, one vote is nonsense. A Senator from the great state of California represents 30 million voters. Pick an issue, any issue, and that representative will find millions on any side of the issue. A Senator can ignore all voters equally and still find support. Yesterday I presented another single lesson to take away from Irreni: designs don't automatically scale. What works at one order of magnitude doesn't work at another order of magnitude. Sometimes you can tweak a design with small innovations but that may come at the price of changing the infrastructure surrounding the design. Then

How To Scale, 101

Image
Hi! Happy Wednesday! Yesterday I blogged about applying Silicon Valley know-how to politics,  how under the covers of Irreni World Scale lie the principles Silicon Valley computing. Specifically I went on about the process of innovation being agile. Agile is defined to be a constant back-and-forth of top-down versus bottom-up design approaches called iterations. We can think of these top-down versus bottom up iterations as a revolution, a revolution of a wheel of design  where top and bottom of the wheel represent top-down vs. bottom-up design perspectives respectively. The new form of 21st Century revolution then is innovation brought on by each revolution of the design. I then made the statement that if there were only one thing to learn from Irreni World Scale it is this: that politics today needs new bottom-up systems for people to make decisions for themselves. Today, I'm going to change the one thing to learn from Irreni because there is an even more important fundament

High Tech Politics

Image
Hi! Happy Tuesday! Irreni World Scale is bursting with computer science principles to be applied to politics. Why? Because we humans know how to scale computers where both Google and Facebook have over one billion users today.  Irreni is a Silicon Valley political solution not just because of high tech advocacy such as The Data Center on the Moon or the Device of Life. Irreni is also a Silicon Valley political solution because it applies the design of scale we've learned how to practice in Silicon Valley where our politics today needs to scale but is sorely lacking in that department.  Yesterday I blogged about Greece and how Greece is a prime example of a failed state that didn't scale. Yesterday I offered analysis that failed states like Greece and Syria and Sudan are burgeoning in modern times because politics doesn't scale due to a lack of bottom up approach, a lack of people making decisions themselves. Today I'd like to take a further elaborate and take a mo

Irreni VS Greece and No Solutions

Image
Hi! Happy Monday! Greece is all the hot topic these days now isn't it. Everyone is staring in the face  of the hard cold political fact that there just are no political solutions. Greece interests me because Greece is a case of scale. Whatever Greece ends up being, it didn't scale in its current form. At this precise moment Greece is kinda like cloud watching. Everyone sees what they want to see, what they imagine. I see chocolates, you see a bunny rabbit. Recently I saw an Internet meme that stated Greece's fate will be the fate of the US if Bernie Sanders is elected President. After all, Bernie Sanders is a socialist. Such a silly pattern to apply because one failed socialist state doesn't make for a statistical case. Not even close. Most of Europe is socialist in some form or another as well as most of the Nordic countries. Many socialist countries are world ranked as the best places on Earth to live. Still, many conservative Americans see Greece as the ultimat

Replacing Politics with Life

Hi! Happy Sunday! Hope you are all feeling well and being zany zappy! Not too often you can find zee alliteration, eh? Zany Zappy! Zany Zappy! Zany Zappy! Irreni World Scale takes unusual positions with respect to fixing politics: System not policy. IWS is a scalable system of politics that scales from tribe, to continent, to planet, to solar system and beyond!  Individuals not the leaders. Irreni focuses on empowering you, the individual, and not the heads or the leaders. The objective was stated by Thomas Jefferson, "The government that governs best governs least because the people govern themselves.  Technology of the day. Empowering everyone is far more complicated then empowering a governing body, a President or a Congress. Irreni is not possible at all without technology. Irreni World Scale requires a minimum technology of the Internet, massive education, massive storage, massive communication and individual hand-held devices connected to all of these.  Cultur
